Frequently Asked Questions

Due to the many emails and phone calls we receive, we have decided to make a page dedicated to your questions.
We will update this page as we see fit.

Is Triumph Chew with Nicotine a safe alternative?
Triumph Chew is made with food grade ingredients with nicotine extracted from tobacco. Chewing tobacco is known to have many carcinogens and nicotine. Just because Triumph Chew only contains Nicotine from tobacco does not mean that it is 100% safe. Nicotine is a known poison and toxin and can be harmful in high doses, especially to those with heart problems or any other health complications. While nicotine at this point is not a known carcinogen, not a lot of research has been done on nicotine as a standalone. Most studies are done on nicotine with tobacco. Triumph Chew was not invented to be a long term alternative or substitute for chewing tobacco. It was invented by the owner to help him find a different approach to alternatives that had options within the product. It is our recommendation that you use full and half strength for only as long as you need and then use only our Zero strength.  Our Zero Strength still has the great moisture, texture, and flavor of all of our strengths, but contains No Tobacco or Nicotine. Which is the safest for you to use; tobacco with the known carcinogens, Triumph with food grade ingredients and nicotine added, or a non-tobacco chew without nicotine? That is really for you and/or your doctor to decide. Triumph Chew is not an FDA approved product so it is not a product that we can call safer.
Our main goal is to help people that are in the same boat as the inventor.  It may seem crazy to some to encourage people not to use your product forever, but that is our main goal. If we can make a successful business out of it in the process, then great. Some of our best moments as a team have been helping many long term chewers find an alternative that works for them.

Why is Triumph chew a medium cut chew?
Triumph Chew is offered in a medium cut only because that is what we have found to work the best with mint leaves. We have experimented with a longer cut and it doesn't feel as nice in lip. Chewing tobacco goes through a fermentation process that softens up the stems and leaves. Mint leaves have stems and leaves that do not soften up enough through our process to make them feel good in the lip. We do not offer a super fine cut because fine cut mint leaves do not pack as well as tobacco.

Why is Triumph Chew not sold in my local gas station?
Triumph Chew is committed to the quality and freshness of our product. Over the last seven years we have been approached by several wholesalers and distributors that would like to carry our product. We are a family owned business and want to make sure everyone gets a fresh and satisfying product so we declined. We make small batches of our chew without adding preservatives to make sure when you order we deliver the freshest chew alternative we can. We do not want to add a bunch of suspect ingredients to herbal chew just to make the shelf life longer. We understand that it would be easier for you to go down to your local corner store and find our product, but the trade off is not worth it to us. So from our Triumph family we want to say thank you for your continued support.
